MICROFIBER DISC GRIP TOWEL & MINI MARKER DISC
[ ] Waffle-Weave Towel
[ ] Regulation Mini Marker
[ ] Grip Chalk Bag

  • Waffle-Weave Towel: the owner's spec. The weave soaks up water and dries quickly.
  • Regulation Mini Marker: the owner's spec. "Regulation" size and use are set by the PDGA or your local course, so check the current rules.
  • Grip Chalk Bag: a small pouch for chalk. Check course rules, since some places limit chalk use.
  1. Mark so others can play. If you stop or step away, mark your lie so a following group can see where you are.
  2. Keep your footing. A wet towel and a wet disc make grip slippery, and wet ground makes footing worse. Wear shoes with grip and slow down on hills.
  3. Stay hydrated. Drink water between holes and take shade breaks in heat. See cdc.gov for heat illness signs.

Gear types only.

  • Waffle-weave microfiber towel with a clip
  • Small mini marker discs
  • Chalk bag with a loop
  • Wild Dirt clothing for sun and chilly mornings (clothing category)

Marking rules, mulligans and equipment limits depend on the course and on the event. Check current local rules on the course sign or the park site. For official play, check the PDGA at pdga.com.

Dry hands, a marked lie and a clean shot. Built by explorers, for the fairway and the fun.

Grip

  • Waffle-Weave Towel, clipped where you can reach it
  • Grip Chalk Bag, for sweaty or humid days
  • Spare dry towel for rain

Marking your lie

  • Regulation Mini Marker
  • A spare marker, in case you lose one
  • Place the marker directly in front of your disc, as the rules say
  • Pick up your disc after you mark it

Wet and dry

  • Keep the towel dry in a pocket or zip bag between holes
  • Wipe the disc, your hands and the rim before each throw
  • Dab chalk lightly. Too much can make the disc slippery

Etiquette

  • Mark a lie when you take a break
  • Wait until others have thrown before you walk ahead
  • Do not mark your lie with something that can hurt the course

After

  • Shake out the chalk and wash the towel
  • Count your marker discs before you leave
