CARBON FIBER PACK TRIPOD, LENS PEN & BLOWER BRUSH
[ ] Carbon Travel Tripod
[ ] Optical Lens Pen
[ ] Rubber Rocket Blower
- Carbon Travel Tripod: the owner's spec. Check the maker's load rating against your camera and lens, and fold length against your pack.
- Optical Lens Pen: a brush on one end and a cleaning tip on the other. Follow the maker's instructions.
- Rubber Rocket Blower: air only, with no propellant.
- Keep the tripod away from storms and edges. A tall metal or carbon pole is a risk in lightning, and tripods near cliffs or water can tip. See weather.gov for current guidance. Why it matters: a good photo is never worth a bad fall.
- Be a good neighbor on trails. Set up off the path, away from crowds and out of the way of hikers and wildlife.
- Clean gently. Gritty dust scratches lenses. Blower first, always.
Gear types only.
- Carbon fiber travel tripod with a ball head
- Lens pen and blower
- Soft lens brush
- Microfiber cloth in a zip pouch
- Wild Dirt stickers for your tripod bag (sticker category)
Tripod use, commercial photography permits, drones and off-trail travel are set by the land agency and vary by park and area. Check current local rules before you go. Start with nps.gov, fs.usda.gov, blm.gov or your state park website.
Steady legs and clean glass. Blow first, wipe last. Built by explorers, for the trail.
